Episode 484: Trust and safety in the age of AI

We’ve all been in this situation where – seemingly out of nowhere – a change is introduced into our work lives that seems like a loud, urgent emergency that needs you to drop everything you are working on to tackle. It could be anything from a leadership initiative that’s just dropped in your lap, or a vendor release that introduces a change in behavior or breaking change to our environments. I dont know about you, but I am seeing this happen more and more in my work life, and with teams already stretched to the limit, burnout approaching, and everything being a top priority, it’s hard to find a way to navigate through it all especially when communicating up the ladder. Too often, we instead accept the impossible workload and try and do it all, sacrificing evenings or weekends to keep all the plates spinning and internalizing the shortcomings we inevitably have when we fail to keep everything running.
Today we are talking to someone who has a few methods on how to tackle these competing priorities – welcome to the pod Catherine Davis
